If they got used, even for 1 day, they're not brand new, they're used. I've got some underwear I only wore for one day, wanna buy them? They're brand new! /rant

In that case you got the better deal.

195/65 is stock but many people run 195/60 or 205/60.

Lol, go easy on em' guys he's new to the E30 world. Bottlecaps or basketweaves are what you are looking for Amer.;)

I think 195/65 is standard fitment. If so 205 is as far as I would go. Also with a 65 you are on a pretty tall tire to begin with, I would suggest 205/60 or 205/55 if you want more cornering stability.

The correct answer is "who cares".

You won't get good handling out of stuffing a 215 on a 6" wheel. Just get good tires in stock sizing, yes the Azenis are great tires and will work fine.

Are Falken Azenis 195/60/14 fine on 14x6 bottlecaps? I know its less than the 65 profile but it should be good right?

I did 205/60s on basketweaves which are only .5" wider. Why are you trying to put truck size tires on your stock wheels?

215s likely not safe but 195s on a 10 inch rim are AOK:D

Theyll fit safely - thats silly. But theyll be too tall and will feel mushy around corners.
