    Rota GB with 245's?

Rota GB, 16x8 et20. Will I rub on the inside with 245/45's?

Yes I know it's oversized, no I don't care how bad they'll mess up my fender lip (my fenders are VERY rolled). Tire vs. strut tube/wheel well clearance problems?

It will be close on the strut, but I would put money on them not rubbing. Wide 245's like Hoosiers will be the exception, but I don't see street 245/45's rubbing.

Worst case scenario, 3mm spacers on the front only. I doubt it though.

808BMW mentioned he had rolled fenders, but do you believe that fender rolling is required? I'm aiming for 245/45/16 RA1s. I have no problem rolling the fenders, i'm just curious.

I wouldn't run ANY aftermarket wheels, or even stock wheels once lowered without rolling the front lips.

Otherwise it is just a matter of time before you WILL catch the lip and fuck up the paint.

True story. Good thing I don't care about my paint.

that's weird, I have aftermarket 16s with 205s on them; the tire is not touching the strut and its no where near the lip. And yes my car is lowered.

Hehe... Now I see what you mean... and that FINALLY explains why the middle of my inner lip on the left front fender is twisted out a bit and rusted LOL (Bought it that way, and the car had Euro weaves).

I guess I'll roll those fenders good when I take the ride in for bodywork/paint soon.:D

Would it be possible to take the spring off the strut, turned the wheel to full lock, then manually push the wheel into the wheel well (while the car was on jackstands) to see if it will ever bind/rub? I go driving in the canyons alot where the roads aren't 100% perfect and would like some extra peace-of-mind.

Perhaps, but seriously.. just roll them.

Eastwood sells a good roller for $250 new! Buy it, and resell it!

yeah, that would be possible. Kind of a PITA but if you really want to be sure, it wouldnt be a bad idea.

It takes about 5mins per corner.

Not that big of a deal....
