What kinds of tires do people like for 16x7 wheels?

I'm looking at 225/50/16 tires right now and there's an overwhelming amount of choices.

What brand/size do you guys like to run so I can get an idea if I'm in the right ballpark as far as fit and performance goes.

I am currently on stock suspension so I don't need any stretch or super low profile for HERRAFRUSH.

Thats pretty wide for a 7" wheel. I wouldn't go more than 205 personally.

Yeah that makes sense, I was off the mark on the size there.

Now looking at 205/50/R16 tires and there are still a good few.

Any recommendations or places that have articles/comparisons beyond the customer reviews on tire rack or whatever?

Better get 235's, you don't want to wake up one day and realize you're hellaflush.

225/50 is too tall for the E30 and too wide for those wheels.

205/50 is a great choice and will be a good fit.

If you can find them, the Continental ExtremeContact DW in 205/50-16 is arguably the best tire for the money.

My choice would be 215/40/16. Just my choice.

^ 215/40 is too short imo unless you are really low
