    Tire sidewall question

EDIT: Thanks guys for all your input. After going through the Wheels and Tires subforum, I concluded that I will be getting some Falken Ziex 912 for $59/tire or $355 for the entire package.

PS: Maybe i should do some donuts/burnouts with these before switching out :-). jk will probably explode

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hey guys question about tires

The treads are still good but on 2 of the tires (right side) there is a bit of a rip as you can see in the pictures. Does it look so bad that I should replace all four immediately?

Is there a kind of glue that can be used to patch this up? Also, do you think I can move the good ones from the left and put them in the back and just get 2 new tired instead?

    Thanks!

The date stamp is a series of 4 numbers indicating month and year tires were made. Something like "0214" would be February 2014, etc...

I would if they were in great condition but I think they might be starting to do the same

Looks like some rot. But in general, I've heard a hole in the sidewall is a dead tire, atleast that's what the tire place told me.

The first two numbers are the week, not the month. So "0214" would be the second week of the year, 2014. Tires before the year 2000 will also only have 3 numbers, but it is a lot less likely to see any of those anymore.
