Why not buy two crazy custom wheels for the front and then run something cheaper in the rear? I'm assuming you don't need crazy offsets in the rear.

the biggest wheel diamond makes is a 16, which in my opinion is the perfect size for an E30, its a shame you can only run 17. Plus I don't know the weight of a diamond wheel but I would assume they are on the slightly heavier side? correct me if my assumptions are incorrect.

I did consider running different sized wheels front and back, but decided that would just look ghetto. Besides, if I leave my rear brakes stock they'll be super unbalanced... think I calculated it to be a 75/25 split when our cars are supposed to be 60/40ish.

As far as diamond steelie weight goes, from what I've read they're lighter than your run of the mill steel wheel but at the same time I've heard of people complaining about how easy they bend.

Aren't you running e46 control arms? I have e36m 5lug on from and I can run (with trimming of the rear fender area) an Apex 17x9.5 et35 with a 10mm spacer and clear everything...with a 275.
