    will this setup work?

Looking into 225/45/16 (DirezzaZII) with 16x8 4x100 et20 Slip Streams.

Will they rub the oem strut housing or rear trailing arm? Not worried about the wells.

    Thanks!

It will be a very nice fit.

Nice to see somebody going with a man-sized tire.

        Thanks guys!

        To confirm...
        NO spacers needed, right?
If springs are cut (1-1 1/2 coils) No rub, right?

No spacers needed. A friend runs the same specs on his late model E30 on GC coilovers.

            schweet... Thanks!

Any ideas on securing the rear springs when cut?
The cutting is more for balancing the car vs. lowering. Just concerned the spring will pop out when one of the pig tails are cut out.

I'm on a similar set up with GC coils with 7mm and 10mm spacers front and rear, respectively. The 7mm in front is needed on my set up because the spring adjustment collar and tire want to be in the same place...

My rear springs I can pull out easily when fully extended, but never been a problem.
