    Help with spacers, urgent?

I have some 16x7 OZ wheels with ET37 offset and 205/55/16 tires on them.
I got them put on last summer and drove them from Miami to GA and have been using em since. Now I realize that I need spacers on the front and that they have been rubbing on strut, I thought I may have needed them before but I thought someone at alignment shop or other shops I've taken it to since would have noticed and let me know if I did(even though I know it is not their responsibility).

Just took wheel off front driver side and took pics of the strut. I am going back to Miami this Monday and don't think I will be able to get spacers by then, would I be able to wait until I get down to get them there? My dad is a bmw mechanic and doing car stuff is easier down there. Drive is about 550 miles/8 hours. Or should I not risk it? ANY input would be greatly appreciated.

And what size spacers would I need? 10mm and would it require longer lug bolts

    Thanks

you can kinda see where strut has rubbed tire right under the thick middle line in third pic

looks like you only need a pretty thin spacer. HOWEVER, there is no replacement for figuring it out yourself.

    Quoted from IE.

"Not sure what size you need? A simple "shade-tree" solution used to determine what size spacer is to grab a handful of 12mm washers. Stack the washers onto at least two of your wheel studs. At various intervals, test your wheel fitment. After determining your wheel's optimal fitment, take the washers off and measure the thickness of the stack of washers. Then find a spacer in the closest available size.

Not sure if your nut has enough thread contact? A simple "shade-tree" rule-of-thumb is that the nut should be turned onto the stud enough to equal the thickness of the stud itself. With the 12x1.5 thread pitch, this equates out to roughly 7-8 full turns of the nut."

Thinking about these as they are my best bet on getting them before Monday, for $60.

or do a stud conversion, easier to mount wheels too instead of using lug bolts

15mm will give you a nice fit. You should run at least the same in the rear though.

I'd recommend buying from Ryan at Motorsport Hardware. Support a company who supports the E30.

Your tires are 1 size too tall by the way.

Thanks, I was mainly concerned about the front for now and looked at motorsport hardware but only ordered the ones from amazon for the front so I could get them before Monday.

I will probably order from them later this summer, maybe to get spacers for the rear and perhaps a stud conversion

And yea I wish the tires were shorter but that's what the guy who put em on for me ordered, I didn't realize till after (and didn't know much about tire sizes) and don't wanna shell out another $300+ and let these go to waste. What size tire would you guys run on those? 205/50/16?

Got the 15mm spacers and extended bolts today and installed and it could be mind over matter but I think the car feels a ton better. Steering wheel would shake around 55-65mph before but is minimal now and before when I would accelerate into high rpm, the car would feel sluggish and would kind of stutter but now it is smooth just like how it was with my other wheels

                  thanks for all the replies
