Are 17" wheels too much for the E30?

    I just think E30's are meant to be just exactly that.

          17x8 ftw, and not enough tire on my rims, but they are light. 15-17 lb range and w/ 235/40r17's will be awesome. I started w/ 215/40 to make sure i could clear everything.

            my car is a lot more tail happy with the 17s on. its fun, but it isnt efficient for driving fast. that, and they sap the accel out of it.

                if im putting 17's, with 215/40/17 tires, what offset do i need w/o using spacers???

                  17x7.5 typically require a 25mm offset w/ that tire size.
