Replica BBS.. Are they any good?

These are the ones I was looking at: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=331463433198

I'm not really sure on how they preform vs the real thing is there a lot of difference? What could I expect out of the replicas?

When i bought my car it had some reps that are very similar to the one you posted, they have been fine. Do i like them? Nope, i don't like replica crap but have left them on just because I'd rather fix all my other worn out parts first.

Had some reps on my 86 325es , for about 3 months (ESM ?) can't remember... They were nice . But not the real thing... sold them for what I paid for them. Found nice set of 15" BBS RS locally for my car... Way more happier with the real stuff..Nothing against reps...
            it's just a ETA !

I have had my 16x7 4x100 et20 konig remebers (BBSrs reps) for like 5 years now and have had no problems with them. If you buy a set just remember to get the hub rings with them too.

this. although reps will be just fine for most uses there is something about the real deal RS wheels that's hard to match.

Those are actually style 5 reps and I have seen a few people run them with no complaints. I am running a quality rep on my vert and have zero regrets. They look great, price was excellent, quality is decent and they bolted right on without spacers, fill/drill or adapters.

I have yet to hear of someone have a set of reps explode on them.

Do you care about impressing people on the internet?
Do the reps come in the size you want?
Can you afford to spend 2000 on a set of rims without tires?

If you don't care about impressing internet people then a set of reps are perfectly acceptable.

I had a set of avid 1s for a few months. One of the wheels had clear peeling on it already.
Sold em and went back to caps for a year and bought a set of gold rs for 300$ and rebuilt them. If you just want the look and don't care about it being real or naw then just get em. Asking r3v for opinions on your ride is never good. People always going to bitch hehe.

BBS rep, is just a look.

your question should be "is THIS specific brand any good?"

some BBS reps may be good, some may be crap. none will be like a original BBS of course ...

OP, my Dad had similar, if not the same brand wheels you linked. They look a lot better then the more popular RS reps you see people running on there cars, at least to me. Oh, and there 16x8 SQUARE set up. Pic on his old car:
