What tire size do I need for esm 16x8?

Esm says 205/45 is right size and will not look stretched

Discount Tire says 205 will be super stretched and 225/50 is right size

I have the hr and bilstien springs and shock pkg so car sits about 2" below stock

    I hate the stretched look

What is the right size that won't rub?

205 will have a little bit of a stretched looks, im running 205/50. The ideal size Is 225/45 but there's not too many tire options in that size.

205/50 is the closest to OEM rolling diameter, and there are several options in that size. Next up would be 215/45, which can be found on summer tires like Rivals and Azenis.

It really depends on the make and model of the tire. I have 205/45s on a 8.5 and they are square.

As said, 205/50 or 225/45 are ideal to retain stock overall diameter.

A 205/45 will appear more stretched than a 205/50 in my opinion.

Do not do a 225/50, it's too tall.

I have 205/45 Nitto Neogens on my 16x8 ESM002s. They do not look stretched in the least bit.

Ok so here is a test fit 215/45r16

                They are borderline stretched imo

They look a bit truckish and just plain bulky

Would a 35 or 40 look less bulky? Not many tire options in those sizes

Tire size calculator compares diameter, width, circumference and speedometer differences for any two tire sizes. Supports tire sizes in metric and inches.

                      Great tool

Shows the tire in my photos to be the most appropriate size to replace my 195/65r14

I think those look good on there personally. If you want something smaller you'll have to go with a 205/45.
