Hello everyone, i just recently purchased a set of 14x7 Maserati Biturbo wheels with 0 offset, bolt pattern 4x98. Had anyone here on the forum been able to fit them on there e30. I tried using wobble bolts, but the bolts at an 1 1/2 inches didn't get enough thread to sit comfortably. Options and opinions would be nice.

I had some BBS RS 068, same dimensions and they worked fine.

The opening is large enough that a wheel shop can do a redrill and press a steel sleeve into the hole to make it 4x100.
I had a set of 5x114.3 modified to be 5x112 this way.
My 1989 e30 s52 Touring... this is Betty
My 1989 325i vert (sold)...this is Nina
My 1991 M5 (sold)... this is Veronica

That would be a 6mm movement (.25"). They would not need to use sleeves in a 4x98 to 4x100 conversion as it's only 1mm (.040", about the thickness of a business card).

Redrilling them allows you to use a regular wheel bolt in case you lose one.

Lol. Depending on the stock used business cards are .015"-.020" (.4-.5mm). Typing paper is .004, human hair is .003", just demonstrating how small the measurement is. We would measure all kinds of random things in the machine shop while waiting for parts to drop. So, ok, two business cards. :P
