it can, but generally it doesn't, assuming you are runing similar diameter tires. the reasons it might make a difference are clearance for the strut, a larger wheel will have more clearance with the same offset and width as a smaller wheel. this is because of the angle of the strut tube away from the wheels..

I'll have to see if I still have a spreadsheet that calculates your offset. Has the info on distance from the wheel to the strut housing and such.-Brandon
