    E38 style 5 emergency question !!

I just dropped my e38 style 5s at a wheel shop to get a bunch of stuff done.

I want to run the center caps of the wheels on the car. I just dropped the wheels off at a wheel shop today to have the center bore reduced to e30 57.1mm. And I just realized while lying in bed that the center cap might not fit in the wheel with the center bore size reduced. What do you think. ?

I think the center caps are the best part of the wheel.
I don't have the wheels in front of me so I don't know the answer.

They typically only reduce the centerbore where the wheel meets the hub, not the entire bore. You should be fine.

Okay. That's what I though initially. But I sent him an email last night confirming this.

Hopefully I can run the centers. Thanks for your help.

What are the specs on your wheels? I'm thinking of having some 17x8 style 5 090 rebuilt and wouldn't mind getting some info as far as how fittment goes. I've seen some people say that the didnt roll their fenders and have no rubbing issues and so guys who have rolled their fenders because of rubbing issues.

Reduce the bore? why wouldn't you just run hubcentric rings?
