    Hazy Wheel Lips

I'm on the final polish for a set of OZ Vegas I'm refinishing and was wondering what I should do to bring out the full mirror finish. I tried just some mother's aluminum polish but it doesn't seem like enough. It is still leaving a haze/fine scratches. Any insight would be helpful.

    Thanks!

This is how I did mine-

    Wetsand from 1500-3000
8" polishing wheel on a bench grinder with brown and then white rouge (different wheel for both)
    mothers polish

Try a polishing wheel with white rouge on a few spots and if that doesnt get it where you want, work backwards and forwards on my list until you find how deep you have to go and then do it to the whole lip

When I did mine, I started with 320 and went all the way to 2K.

To get that mirror finish or even close, you have some wetsanding to do in your future. I can see some high and low spots on those pix.

Yeah I went from 320-2000 but I agree somewhere in the process I missed some scratches. I'll give the bench grinder a go and if I can't get it to where I want then I guess it's back down to 320.

Bench polisher did the trick! Still has a little haze but I can handle it.
