Don't you feel a li'l silly...? Precisely why I stayed out of the GB.Comment

All you had to do was check out some of the foreign wheels that are already made in this size --- seems they're made w/ 15mm offset... hrm...
The Rotas do like nice --- clean 5-spokers. A brighter color would've been cool.Comment

Just to chime in here- I think et20 is almost ideal because of rear wheel fitment. I'm not positive, but I'm going to guess that any lower offset in the rear would cause some serious fender clearance issues.
Better to run a small spacer up front and end up with perfect offset on both ends of the car. You may even be able to run 245s in the rear with some serious rolling.'91 318is

thing about the rear is that there is more than enough room to move the center outwards. the front is the toughest place to center the wheel in.
with this setup on say, 225's, the et is fine. 245's all around will require at most, 5mm spacer in back and 5-10mm in front.Comment

Well, we'll have to agree to disagree.
From my first and second-hand experience, et20 puts 225's awfully close to the inner fender on lowered e30's. So as I was saying, for the best fitment (unless you go with different front+rear offsets), you're better off going with a slightly higher offset and adding spacers up front as necessary.'91 318is

I was personally one of the main people consulted about the offset for these wheels, and I was dead-on. I have personally seen a set of these wheels with 225/45/16 tires mounted without spacers, without any issue. Right from the start, I informed them that some 245's will require a tiny spacer (3mm), but that's it.
The fronts already slightly stick outside the fenders at ET20 (although they don't rub at all).Comment

And IMO, well rolled fenders in the back should fit a 245, and maybe a 3-5mm spacer up front.Comment
