They looka... like wheels... with tires. :)

I really don't know, but they look like they are trying to knock off bottlecaps. Personally, I like real bottlecaps better than this.

Those were the TRX wheels too, about the best use for those things.

I thoroughly support the recent multi-piece bottlecap trend, would totally rock a set. I wish I had the skills to make the centers.

People do it all the time. Cut the face off the 1 piece wheel and machine it down to fit a common barrel and lip.

These I like... I don't like that weird little fill in the gaps. Looks weird.

I would love to rock a set of these!

How much would it cost to do something like this?

It can vary to an extreme amount, but it can definitely benefit cause in some cases it can turn out cheaper than a lot of wheels. Since bottle caps are inexpensive the costly part would be getting everything machined and assembly. Youll save a ton of money if you assemble and finish (polishing lips) yourself. If you have the right connections my stab at quoting this $1300 with you doing assembly and finishing. Seem pretty steep, but at the same time if you sold a set of 3 piece bottle caps on here I feel like everyone would pay a pretty penny and eat that shit up, so its not all wasted investment.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.
