I need opinions on these rims.....

I have a white 88 325iC, and I currently have 14" white bottlecaps. I really like the white on white look, so I wanted to stick with that. So I was looking around and found these which are hella expensive, but I really like the way they look and think they'll look sweet on my ride.

The rims are the white Volk Racing TE37's, 17X7.5, 4X100, with a +40 offset.

I already know i'll need spacers and a longer stud kit. I believe 25mm spacers and a 80mm stud kit. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

So what do you guys think?

25mm spacers would push them very close to the fenders.. 20mm would be better, for an effective 20mm offset. FYI, most E30 wheels that are 7.5" wide use a 20mm offset.

oh ok, i wasnt sure but thanks for the clarification. So is the 20mm offset the same as on the 17X7.5 Kopi's? Any other opinions?

If you want the opinion of a 43 year old guy who still drives a loud, low E30 on 17's, I say no, I don't care for them.

I also don't really like the wheels on my car, but LOTS of other people do.

It is your car. It is (hopefully) your money. Rays are excellent quality, so if you like them, go for it!

as far as the wheels, I think the style is fine, but I don't like white. I'd rather have them in silver or gunmetal.
