Anyone else miss the lightness of basketweaves? Call me silly but I think that even my 16.5lb 15" C's are noticably heavier than cruising around on my 'weaves.
Well, duh they are heavier, but I do notice them more than I would think. Perhaps shodding my 'weaves in ES100s might be possible down the road.....or K1s......

Do you still have those giant tires on? That would make a big difference in feel.
Am I correct in thinking that they only make the K-1s in 15" now? And didn't they used to make larger sizes? I like the wheels, but I would have prefered a 16"

They only make K-1s in 15" in normal E30 fitments. Look to Volkswagen-suited wheels with spacers. The 95 4-lug jetta has the same centerbore, just different offset, AFAIK.

Thx a lot for the info. What are the disadvantages (if any) of using the spacers? I have heard several people express their dislike of having to use spacers...but they didn't mention why.
Like if the spacer doesn't extend the hub the wheel is riding on the studs/bolts alone. I'm looking into this right now, as I have ET30 15x7s and would prefer ET24-25.

I'm looking into doing this (getting some of the 16"s that are made for the Jettas) but before I commit, any other wheels I should look into? Preferably something around the same price range, I'm already gonna break the bank with these. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
If you like 16", I'd say there is not a lot of cheap, light, good wheels. You can have cheap and 16", but not attractive as these, nor as light.
Yeah, I have noticed a lack of good 16" rims. I don't mind 15"s that much, and i have even seen a few 17"s I liked...so I am open to other suggestions.
