    What if you didn't widen each side of the wheel equally? Then what?

    For example, you add two inches to the front, but only one inch to the rear.

    Although your example uses the right concept, there is the common chance someone won't add to both sides equally.

    I know I wouldn't add to both sides equally, I love more lip and fender-flushness!

    15x6.5" ET33
    =
    15x8.5" ET8 (2" = 51mm, 51mm/2 = 25.5mm, ET33-25mm = ET8 )

    If the wheels were originally 15x6.5 et33(is that right?) and you widened the outer lips 2inches then the offset would be alot lower, like et8
