the time has come for new tires and a friend pointed these out to me, from what i'm reading they seem good and the price makes them really tempting. What would make me buy them is personal experiences. Has anyone rocked these are any hankook tires? please chime in with tread wear and grip and such. thanks

I got some 195/60R14s the other day. I'm using them for the first time at autox this Sunday. I used Azeni RT-615s last year, so I will update back in this thread on Sunday after autox what I think of them.

The rt615 has a stiffer sidewall, a bit more consistent/higher dry grip, but the rs2 isn't far behind. Id order from discount tire direct too - free shipping.
I only got about 12k out of my rs2s, with a lot of highway driving. If the car is used for mainly "pleasure" I wouldn't expect more than 10k out of them - if that.87 325IS - Delphin Grey/Cardinal

i ran them all last summer - 4-5 autox days, as well as tons of abuse on the streets and a couple of 100+mi highway trips (not just local blasting). They're fantastic rain tires , and dry lateral grip is amazing. I haven't driven the azenis yet, but i'm certainly impressed enough with the Rs2 to buy them again. I got maybe 10k out of them, but i pretty much expect to buy a new set every summer the way i beat on my tires :p
One quirk - noticed that they seem to have (in the dry or wet) way more lateral grip than fore/aft ... seems they thought that the original azenis (their competition) didn't do well in the wet, so they channeled this one like crazy. Now there's not a whole lot of tread in the center - Braking/accel certainly are fine, but the lateral grip is surprisingly huge by comparison.
Still, i loved 'em. ran 215-45-16 and got 'em through discount tire, pricematched from edgeracingJay

A friend of mine has these on his car, really likes them . I drove his car a couple of times on a local autox course and they ARE pretty damn good.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205
