For autox yes. Around town I ran a LOT less. I'll only be using these for autox though.

This past saturday I autocrossed on brand new (less than 200 miles on them) 195/60 14 rt615 tires but didn't get enough seat time to evalutate them... My friend is still autocrossing his car with rs2 tires and had a chance to drive my car from the tire shop once rt615s got mounted and is buying rt615s next... shrug..

I think you can't go wrong with either one .

Fact is, the RT-615 is superior to the R-S2 in every way except hydroplaning resistance and ride quality. It's faster both dry and wet.

E30-specific fact is, only Hankook offers 225/50/15 and 225/45/16. And while I have no data on it, I'd speculate those sizes would be faster than the 205 and 215 Falken equivalents. At least that's what I'm betting on, 225/50/15 R-S2s are in my garage for this season.

I had these on my 240sx and loved them and the price. Far better than my Falken rt-215 in the wet and no noticable difference in the dry. Can't speak to the difference between the RT-615 though.
