Wayyyy more work. That wheel spec is just too aggressive for 225s.Comment

The front isn't the problem. It just about never is on E30s, there's acres of space up there.
Depending on how well that fender pull was done, 225s should be fine.Comment

10mm spacer and 235/40 all around. Its me again.... It seems the spacelines required to big of a spacer 25mm front and 35mm rears for a 17x8.5 wheel
Now I have come across a wheel that will work with my BBK.
17x.7.5 et 35
What spacers will work with these wheels? I have read somewhere in the thread that with any et35 wheel 20mm(custom 10mm) spacers will work. Im looking at running 235/40 rear and 215/40 fronts.Comment

You have lots of room with that setup. A centimeter is an acre in E30 wheel fitment.Comment

Looking for some help/input on tire sizes to run on my ETA. Borbet Type B mesh, 16x7.5 et 30. Running H&R Sport with Bilstein Sport. Not big on the stretch look - 215-45 ? Thoughts ?Comment

So I went ahead and grabbed a full set of 225/45-16 BF Goodrich KDW2s to fit on my 16x8 et23 style 5 wheels.
From what I've gathered, I need a bare-minimum 3mm spacer up front to clear the front caliper but 5mm is recommended. I have already rolled the rear fenders but have yet to get the fronts done.
et23 plus a 5mm spacer puts me at et18 with 225 tires.
How am I looking in terms of fitment? Does the front absolutely need a roll? What about the rear fitment? I'm thinking that if I throw a 5mm spacer in the back too just to balance out the front spacer things shouldn't be bad right?

Also, the car is lowered on GC/Bilsteins. I don't ride on the lowest settings by any means either.world renown Harry Potter expert
