Don't run 16x8 +0 XXRs. They will fit with massive work (very stiff springs, fender pull front and rear, 195 tires) but then you'll likely end up with ugly chipped paint. And by the time you clean all of that up and make it work, you could have afforded a nicer set of wheels that fit properly.I know this has been answered probably 10 times, but I'm honestly having trouble finding a definite answer, i'm trying to run 16x8 xxr 002's ET 0 while lowered on coilovers. I'm planning on buying 205/45/16, but saw a few 205/50/16's that caught my attention as well, I want to make sure i'll just have to roll rear fenders, the fronts should be fine from what I understand? This is on a late model 318is.

Ah, not what I wanted to hear...I can always adjust the height a bit, thanks though, that's a huge help!Don't run 16x8 +0 XXRs. spacers
After reading your response to 8mm spacers I want to get your opinion on this. I did a test fit with a friends tires.

These wheels are the 7.5X17 ET 25 with 15mm spacers, from the factory, with 235/40 R17 888's on a 91 vert with H&R Sports (Vert specific). I may run a little less expensive performance tire. There are no camber plates on the car but I have considered installing them. I also need to drop the front a little more. The tires sit out too far in the front so I want to reduce the spacer width and would like to know what you would recommend and which one's would you stay away from. I was going to space it out with washers for the test fit and then buy the appropriate spacer but figured it was better to ask here first. Thank you for all your help.
Cheers,

Buy 175/70/14, 185/70/14 or 195/65/14 winters and put them on your bottlecaps.Comment

So the final offset is +25 then? They look too far in to be +10 effective offset. After reading your response to 8mm spacers I want to get your opinion on this. I did a test fit with a friends tires.

If they are +25 final, then you can't run any smaller of a spacer, except maybe a 12mm. Camber is your answer.Comment

If you take the ET +25 (published by wheel manufacture with spacer included) and remove the 15mm spacer I think they would be ET +40 without any spacer. This wheel manufacture used the 15mm spacer to calculate the ET 25 wheel offset that they published. I have confirmed this by finding the center-line of the wheel and measuring to the back of the spacer where it contacts the brake rotor to the outer edge of the lip and subtracting the two numbers from one another. I think that if I ran no spacers I would have interference with the brake caliper but a 4 or 5 mm spacer would cause the wheel clear the caliper. Hope this helps.
