    Tires are 215/45/16 Direzza DZ101's.
How much fender work do I need in the front or back -- the car's on coilovers.

    Would a 215/40 make much of a difference over a 215/45?

I got a set of 16X7.5 wheels, et 20 with a nice 1.5-2" lip I'm dropped on Billys and H&R sports springs but the fronts have RichardKeith 15mm drop hats. I have lightly rolled my rear fenders in the rear but not the fronts since clearance isn't an issue, what do you recommend for a tire size as my DD.

I planning on running an 8mm spacer in the rear on my 15x7 et20 Type A's and was wondering if I would need extended lugs to be able to run that spacer.

I just got flat caps for my Type A's today and just want to know if I would have any issues using them with extended lugs. Thanks

I gots a question. With stock bottle caps and tires on a car dropped about 2.5", how wide spacers can you use without issues?

Also a tad off topic, would it make a huge difference switching to to a bigger wider wheels with a lower profile tire? Obviously that looks better but if theres not a huge difference ill stick with bottle caps.

          Thanks

I STFA but would still like a confirmation about this setup.

With a 225/45/16 on a 16x9 ET15 square setup fit without any issues?

I have GC coilovers and camber plates.

              Jay,

I've got a set of euroweaves and looking at Ziex 912 225/50/15...I'd like a flush look without any rolling if possible. Camber is at approx. 2.5 in the rear and maybe -.3 in the front, bilstein sports, and H&R sport...do I need spacers front or rear? If so what sizes?

i was looking at the ESM-002r. I have hr race springs and bilsteins on my car now. I want to run 17x8.5(15 offset) in the front and run 17x10(20 offset in the rear). what kind of spacers will i need and tire sizes? I know i will need to roll my fenders

Does Jay no longer take questions? Totally understandable after so many years of the same questions asked over and over!

They are drilled 4x100 so the offset is still et23 standard.

Same specs as you gave me?
Yeah, same specs are good. The M3 hubs are pushed out a bit, but what I said was the safe route for 4-lugging.

I would like to use either 16x7 et20 or 16x7.5 et 20 5 bolt wheels on my iX. I will be using 18mm adapters to install the wheels (effectively giving me et2) and 205/55/16 tires. Will this all work on my iX? Thanks!
No! The offset is far too low and the tires are an inch too tall. You need an offset of 20 at the lowest and tires that are 24.4" or shorter.

Should I stick with the 50's? Any comments on the tires? I wanted to be able to get them at Tire Discounter, these will be daily driver ish tires and for play on streets, not track tires. I just want something with decent treadwear, balance and ~$100/tire. Seemed people on here are OK with them.

                          Thanks.
Stick with 205/50. 205/45 will make your ride height look worse (more gap) plus throw the speedo off more than it is.

Nope. With the E36 suspension those wheels will be poking outside of the fenders. 205/40 is about the biggest you want to go without drastic fender work.

Yep. Gives you a good amount of clearance with the shorter sidewall, you should be able to get away with just a flat roll.
