205/45. The diameter helps hide some of the massive gap 215/40 leaves.

15mm front 20mm rear is a good setup. Won't need any rolling.

        VW steelies can work.

          Minimum: 3mm front spacers.

To look decent: 20mm spacers all around.

Way off, you need the offsets close to stock (15x7 +24). Those need 25mm spacers.

20mm all around, or 15mm front for a more even stance.

Hoosier has a sale on 205/65/14 'HISTORIC RADIAL DOT SPEEDSTER' tires. If I put them on stock weaves, it's cool, right? I don't know how they do on actual mounted tire width, but my understanding is wider than the average tire.

That said, those are track tires, yes? If not, that would defeat the purpose.

I was looking for tire size info and I also wanted to see if spacers would be required to make them sit flush.. I'm running GC's and didn't want rubbing issues.

                  Thanks!

I ordered the UUC BBK and looking for a wheel that will clear this brake kit without spacers or fender rolling if possible. Recommendations?

Do I need to go with a 16 or 17? I currently have 15 inch Ronal LS and have been told it will not clear.

by then. I want meaty street tires that fill the arches

I believe those are +25. 225/50/15 is the choice. You won't even need to roll.
Has this been confirmed, or is this correct? I just ordered the exact same wheel. Currently on 205/50/15 with my Ronal LS. Wanted to go a little wider, but do not want to rub... or roll fenders.

                        Thanks!

so if i got the 25mm spacers the offset would then be +24 instead of 49 and i could run the wheels. Or would I need to pull the fenders too?

Just put new lips on my schmits 8.5" rear and 7.5" front I calculated the offsets to be about an et 22 front and rear ( i may be off a mm or 2) .My fenders will be rolled and im lowered on race springs.Would it be better to go 215 45 up front and 225 45 in the rear or 225 45 all around?

                            thanks

Here are some wheel/tire diameter specs I typed up for anyone wondering what sized to run.

                              14” with a 65mm profile = 485.6mm diameter (stock)

                              15” with a 55mm profile= 491mm diameter

                              15” with a 50mm profile= 481mm diameter

                              16” with a 45mm profile= 496.4mm diameter

                              16” with a 40mm profile= 486.4mm diameter

                              17” with a 35mm profile= 501.8mm diameter

                              17” with a 30mm profile= 491.8mm diameter

I believe these are all right. If anyone has any corrections feel free to make them.

I'll correct them all: The second number of a tire size is not an exact measurement. It is a function of the width of the tire. Widths must be known before you can determine the height of a tire.
