I guess I should have done some better research, looks like I have very limited selection in a 215-45. I'm to assume that a 225-45 will have the same outcome regarding the recommended 10-15mm spacers. Wanting it to look agressive without the tires looking like there on steroids. I'm guessing a 205 on a 7.5 will have a bit of a stretched look ??

225/45 will be pretty square, and will work with 10mm rear spacers. 205 on a 7.5 hardly looks stretched at all actually.

I have been trying to figure out if I can get some 17" x 7" with 40mm offset with some 225/45r17s to fit on my 318is. The car is sitting on h&r sports with bilstein sports. I called the tire store here and I was told I would need like a 12mm spacer to fit. Can I run these without spacers or will they and longer stud bolts be needed? Diamond Steelies Question.
I would like to have these steelies made for my car with these specs: 4x100, to fit 91 E30, 16x7, and I want to run 225/45/16 tires. What offset would i need to make this work. I have H&R race with Bilstein sports. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks......................G.

I currently have an '87 325ES with a 5-lug conversion from an E30 M3. It is currently running E36 DS1 wheels with 235/40 R17's all around. I found a pretty good deal on some BBS's, but I'm not sure that they will fit. The wheels I'm looking at are 17x8 in the front and 17x9 in the back. They have 225/45's in the front and 245/40's in the back. The offset is ET40, and the seller ran them on an E46. I know it would be a tight fit, but would these fit on without any serious fender modifications and/or rubbing, or are these just entirely too big for an E30?

I'm having some 16x8 style 5's redrilled in LA, I was planning on running 5mm spacers in the front for clearance and 10mm hub-centric spacers in the rear for flushness ;)
Two questions:
1. What is the largest size tire I can run without rubbing?
2. I know the 5mm will make me flush in the front, or actually even poke a bit. I was wondering if 10mm too big to get flush in the rear and how much will I need to roll my fenders.

I'm dropped on JOM coilovers with no adjusters or spring pads in the rear.

Hi guys. I just sold my 16x7 Alpinas :( and I'm in the market for new wheels. I found some 4x100 Rotiform BLQs which are 17x8 et20. Any idea how hard it would be to fit these? What tires should I use?

I am dropped on eibach pro kits with billy sports.

wanting to fit my style 5's (e38) 16x8 et 23 + 5mm spacers = et18 overall under a stock suspension late model vert -1991- will 225/50/16 give me any issues ? Ive read that they will destroy fenders but most of those threads were about lowered cars. I might put a drop hat up front eventually, but for now shes going to stay stock.

+25, give or take 3mm.

The setup will only work with wheel spacers and smaller tires.

205/45/16 is the limit without fender rolling. 215/45 is possible with a roll. These are both assuming 10mm spacers, which are a good idea to match the front.

Thinking about the Dunlop Star Spec in a 205-50 - or the Falken Ziex 912 in a 205-45 ? Thoughts ? How concerned should I be in the rear with an et 30 offset ?

I'm assuming theres going to be some poke? cause the Alpinas were et28 and they were pretty close to the fender.
