    Which stud kit to buy?

I'm buying a stud kit for my car very soon, but I don't know what brand is best or what length to get.
I'm running 8mm H&R spacers with my Type E's (et35 for a total offset of 27), and I'll just be using a set of weaves for autox wheels.

So which is the best kit for the best money, and what length do I need?

I don't have them yet, but:

their site says the 60mm studs will work with up to a 12mm spacer. and they are only $50 for the set.

So the 80mm kit is the way to go, then? Seems to be about right. Definitely going with the black, too.

The 80mm I think are really used for bigger spacers, like 20mm..

            I'd go for 80 anyway.

57mm just seems way too short. I bet they would be fine with the weaves, but on the Borbets, I think they would be way too short. Besides, the Borbets have really deep lug nut holes.

I got this email from the company that BigD got his studs. I am getting the 80mm because I willl be running 18mm spacers. Its seems that you will be alright running these but they will probably stick out kinda far.

Seems like people that run the 80mm have bigger spacers than the 8mm you will be running but if you don't mind the overhang then it seems so be a great kit. I will be getting them! Sorry if this really doesn't help you.

It does a little bit, I just don't want to order the 57mm kit and then find that they're too short with my Borbets and spacers. I would rather have the 57mm, my only worry is the lug holes on the Borbets are really deep.

I'll have to check, I think the 60mm stud kit is for 15-20mm spacers. I got 60's and with a 15mm spacer, have about a full inch of threads into the lugnut. I will double check though. TurnerMotorsport also has some diagrams for all the lengths etc listed. I dont think it is overall length that designates them.

I just got mine from Vorslag today.

I bought mine individually here, as it came out to be cheaper since you're not buying the lugnuts that normally comes with the kit (came out to about $37). You could just save the money and find some lugnuts at the junkyard for free, or do what I did and use the money saved on some open ended wheel locks.

Here is the link to the 80mm length studs: 80mm

The other reason I bought individually is because I'm going to be using a 5mm spacer upfront and a 15mm in the rear. I looked at that same post Nando provided and figured that if I ran an 80mm in the front with that skinny a spacer, I'd have too much stud sticking out and wouldn't be able to put on the center caps of my wheels. So I have 57's in front and 80's in the rear.
