For a 7.5 might as well stretch a motorcycle tire -.-'

    Go wider.

Tire widths will tend to increase along with diameters. This is probably why you won't find those sizes. Minimum for 16"ers is like 205 width.

In addition, you can fit normal width tires on 16s, why stretch?

        How about 16x7 with 205/50 16s?

a 205/50 will be perfectly flush, not stretched. I have 205/45, same deal, just shorter sidewall. You going to have NO tread if you stretch a tire on a 7" wheel. Even 185 would barely looked stretch.

You're best bet is a 195/45-16. I used to run toyo t1r's in 195/45-15 on my 15x6.5 rm's and it had slight stretch.

Why would you want to stretch a tire?

Because it's the ricer thing to do in the E30 community.

                      Ah, thank you.

Kinda like they often get stretched on wire rims?

Stretching on a 7in wide wheel is stupid. If you are going to stretch put a 215 or 225 on a 9in wide wheel...

With certain wheels, in order to put a tire on that will not rub, you have to go smaller hence stretching. There are legitimate reasons for doing it other than looks. Performance is not necassarily ideal, but it can allow you to put the most rubber and a wider wheel on. It's not ricer, that makes no sense. Its Euro baby!

That's true about the Euro thing. The ricer comment was pretty stupid. I don't know of any ricers that stretch their tires. If anything, it's starting to become more common in the drifting scene.

However, I do agree that if it is done, it should only be done on wider wheels like backtrail69 said.
