würth wheel paint? nagaro silver? (sp?)

I'd like to pick up some Würth wheel paint for my basketweaves, and I was also thinking about doing the gray centers like on the M3 Evo's. So firstly, where can I get würth products, and where could I source the color for the M3 wheels?

the other thing I was considering was painting the centers silver or dark gray, and polishing the lips. hmmm... choices choices!

Nogaro silver is a color that some E30 M3's were painted, not just the Evo's wheels, so you probably will have to and order it in a rattle can from www.paintscratch.com.

If you select 1990>BMW>M3 it's on there: Nogarosilver Metallic, code 243

You'll probably want to get the weaves bead blasted, then you can sand em (if necessary) to get any curb rash off. Pick up some primer from them too.

Würth's wheel paint can be picked up from Bavauto for like $20/can, if you want to paint your lips that color.

    Cheers,

    Kris

yeah I have access to all the stuff I need for bead blasting, polishing and even machining if I need to. hopefully the rattlecans will hold up to being on my wheels. :P

        Oh yeah, I almost forgot

Buy a can or 2 of clearcoat, and apply it like there's no tomorrow.

          hmm $29 a can

oh well.. I'll probably need two cans of the color and two of the gloss. I may as well get some sterling silver to do my is lip too... hmm, nogarosilver centers with SS lips? that might work.. kinda like Ryan's M3.

Are you doing this on the 14's? I'd like to see it done to 14' baskets :)

nah, 15". 14" wheels have crappy tire selection, and the bottlecaps are only temporary. :)

They'll sell rattlecans? I didn't think that you could send aerosol cans in the mail. Or is FedEx different (the company that BavAuto uses)?

they can be sent via truck.. and most places that do online buisiness don't use USPS (who doesn't allow aerosols). UPS and FedEX will both do aerosols via ground, but not air.
