That doesnt look too bad.. Spray some tire shine on those tires though. Did you use anything on the lips to polish? I had to completely strip mine because brake dust have caked on and I had to wetsand the entire lip.. I never really could get it to polish nicely and when i clear coated it, that was the end.
What size tires are you running? look similar to mine

That's about what happened to me. The lip isn't that bad, but I couldn't get the finish to be consistent. The tires are 205/50/15's. I think the car will look better when the racing colors go on (obviously black). Not sure what I'm going to do yet but I suspect black markings on the hood and sides, with white lettering.
I looks good! What paint did you use, got any tips to offer?
VHT paints were used. I've had good experiences with these before but mainly on engine components. If you're going to keep anything polished metal, make sure that you remove all of the clear coat, or leave it all. Don't remove some and leave some in other places or you'll get a pretty spotty look. Also, use fine sandpaper where ever you're going to paint and make sure everything is clean. I used indoor masking tape made for painting trim work. This worked great when it came to masking off the lip. Let them dry overnight before doing anything. Its also best to make sure that the undercoat isn't tacky before appyling the clear coat. Multiple coats works much better than one heavy coat.
