    Stumped about lug bolt length

I've search the Wheels & Tires section and haven't found a clear answer.

I bought 2 extra rims with an offset of 38, so I'm running a 15mm spacer.

I KNOW that I have to get longer lug nuts, but I haven't seen a specific size!

I'm just going to upgrade to studs, so do I get the 60mm kit??

    Thanks!

I think you can use up to a 12mm spacer with 60mm studs

get the 80mm kit to be safe

Go onto BMP's web site and look up the bolts they have. It tells you to use a certain length with a certain spacer.

Just measure the thickness of the hub on the wheel, the spacer(15mm) and the thickness of the hub on the car. Add together and you have the length you need. Offset doesn't mean shit for stud length. Every wheel is going to be different, regardless of offset.

            Sweet!

"For spacers 15 to 20mm use 50mm studs."

            Thank you guys.

              So here's the issue.

              On BMP's site, the 50mm H&R studs are recommended for a 15 - 20mm spacer.

On Vorshlag's website, they recommend the 80mm kit as the 60mm kit is designed for a spacer that is less than 15mm.

You know, I was just about to put the order through and realized this is a set for the car all around.

The design of the hub is actually just shorter than my two other rims (ET 25), I'm thinking that I will be able to run the standard lug bolts in there.

Going to check this out tonight, and if they do indeed fit, I'm going to order me the 60mm kit.
