Help me choose a wheel color!

So I think I have decided on a wheel for my car, but i want to get some input on color. Here is my car:

Here are the wheel colors I am thinking. All are 16x8", ET 0

And here's what they look like on a similar car w/ plastic bumpers: (big thanks to VacMan for putting these together! you rock!)

So, which do you prefer? Or should I ditch the idea and get some Euroweaves?

      There's 2 or 3 other red e30's on black sport max's already.

hmmm so there's a set of Ronal LS and Euroweaves for about the same price....I've always LOVED the LS'.

                  Or the Alpinas, same price:

the Euroweaves are on there too. So if you had to pick between the silver Sportmaxxs, (at ~$400) or the LS, Alpinas or Euroweaves (at ~$800), which would you choose?

If you keep the metal bumpers, go black, if you are going to get plastics, get silver.

Ya i want to swap bumpers, but I dont know when it will happen. Could be a month, could be 2-3 years. I'm hoping I can find a set of Zinno bumpers from an 89, but it's a long shot. I think I am leaning towards silver. Or the Ronal LS. Or the Alpinas. I am just getting myself in to a hole :) Now I know why people talk about being 'wheel slut'!

No problem, just gave me a reason to practice my pshop skills.

I personally think going 1 inch bigger on wheels that are virtually identical to the ones you have now (Euroweaves) is pretty silly. Ronal LS has a very nice lip to it and would be an option, IMO. However, I absolutely love how the Sportmax wheels look on the E30, so much so that I'm buying a set of 16" in black for my cabrio this week. I agree with the comments above, in that if you keep the diving boards, go silver, if you're gonna go plastic eventually, get the black. Remember the window in the black pic is tinted too, so you have to take that into consideration.

BTW, it shouldn't matter that 3 other people on this board have the same sportmaxs with black inserts; this is an enthusiast website and represents .001% of the population, if that. What are the odds you will ever see another car with the same wheels in person?

Good luck with whatever you decide!

Ya i like the look of 16-inch wheels too, but I am having trouble finding them in silver with a 0 offset. I've seen lots of pics of the +15 offset, and I don't like the say the lips sticks out past the fender. I know it's a popular syle especially over the pond, but I am not a big fan. If I could find a 16" in silver with 0 offset, I would be very tempted to get those over the Ronals. But, the Alpinas are cool too :) and I would def. be the only one rocking those!
