    question 205/55/16

will 205/55/16 tires fit on an e30 w/o rubbing.
and also are there wheels to fit the tire to go on an e30?

I have that exact tire size on my car, and so far its a great fit. I haven't dropped my car yet, so we'll see whether I need to roll my fenders once I do... The wheels I'm using are 16x7 Konig Rememers, a BBS RS replica. They use a 4x100 bolt pattern with a 20mm offset, so perfect fitment for an E30. There are actually a set of golds available from JLB motorsport on their ebay site. If you're lucky they may still have the blacks or the silvers in their warehouse, so give them a ring if you're interested.

    Here's their ebay listing:

Here's their "holiday clearance specials" - looks like they have a set of blacks on special:

205/50/16 the right size same diameter of stock tires (195/65/14).

There are so many wheels in 16x7 size that it would be impossible to name them all. As long as the wheel is 4x100 and the right offset(not sure exactly what), it will fit. The bbs rx work nicely, but they have small spacers to do so. Look at my sig for pics. http://www.tirerack.com/ has alot of nice wheels, and you can look at them on your car. The staff is very helpful too.

205/50/16 was recommended to me by americas tire co. those supermesh wheels look bad ass.

They are oversize and will rub unless you are at stock ride height...

205/50/16 would be the equivalent, 55 will look too high of a tire IMO.
I have 215/40/17 on mine dropped 1.6" in the front and 1.2" in the back, wheels are ET40 and I have 30mm spacers in the back and 20mm spacers in the front. Set up is perfect but the fender is real close to the tire in the back though.
