PERFECT drop height! See, we're just battling opinion. I think that's spot-on. In fact, I'm going to go look at Eibach springs now, since I wanted the front to drop a touch more then the front.
The 2nd (current) pics, for me, are too low for a street car. It looks good, but I don't want to have to worry about every bump in the road. Good comparison pics though for the original poster!
Yeah I actually would rather have the Eibach setup even though the KW setup looks better...
Just gotten so tired of daily driving coilover suspensions maxed out on drop. I had a Ti with HR race coilovers that were all the way down. Looked great, handled better, drove like dog turds over bumps. Hurt my feelings everytime I hit a pot hole. But anyways, OP, just get the fuckin HR Race and stop crying. Its a progressive rate spring, it wont be that harsh.

KW's weren't bone jarring or harsh at all, at times I wished they were stiffer. I think the OP should find some 70/50 drop springs for the wheels he wants, and he can get a progressive rate if he's a puss:D Best bet is KW variant coilovers, slam in the summer, raise back up in the winter.

you never liked the way it looked when you had the eibach?
i have a sedan, you think it will be different? I noticed that sedan has the front lower than the rear, unlike 2dr fron it higher. like the silver 4dr with brock's.

Nope, I actually took the 16x9's off until I got the right drop, looked retarded and goofy as hell.
Sedan will look the same.
Check out the difference when I had "normal" sized tires and wheels with the eibachs, looked pretty good I think, gap in the front was under control and it very practical. But eibachs suck cack, too soft, stock springs felt the same.

I think that guy's either got to be 19 or have an ass of steel, because there's no way in hell I'd have a race drop on the street again as a daily driver. Too uncomfortable, too impractical. I think those Eibachs look great. And I did a comparison between the Eibach pro-kit and the H&R Sport springs, and while the H&R seem to be a bit better handling (minimal), they're also not quite as progressive as the Eibachs. And for me, I want a stiffer ride when I'm hitting the corners, but I'd like to give up as little cushoin as possible for my jaunts down the freeway and on my way to work. The Eibachs look like the best spring for that. Read the following link:
Aworthybrother, I'm lowering my sedan as well, and the Eibachs give 1.5" front and 1.0" in rear. I think that's our best option for maintaining drivability while still improving cornering prowess.
I don't need to eliminate every ounce of fender gap. I think the Eibach setup looked the best of all of them, personally. I'm going to be doing this setup with the 17"x7.5" that I ordered.
