    newbe rim question

i just got my first e30 a few weeks ago its a 87' 325i and i love it so far. I want to put new rims on it and i had borbet LS in mind. they are a 15x6.5 with a 38mm offset. they take a 195-50-15 tire. Now im new to e30's and idk if they will fit. i called tirerack.com and they said that it wouldn't fit and he said if i used a spacer it would hit the wheel well. i bav auto springs on my car so its droped about 1.6 inches. i just don't wanna buy like $1,000 worth of rims and tires and have them not fit. any advice would be great.
    thanks

Borbet LS is a pretty ugly wheel IMO.

Now that aside.. yes those will fit fine.

You should use a 15mm spacer, and run a proper sized tire. 195/50R15 is very undersized. Either run 195/60R15 or 205/55R15

Turner Motorsport has a good selection of H&R spacers.

You did not mention what the center bore is on that wheel and I wasn't able to find the info after a google search.. but that plays a roll too.

The "circle" in the center of the wheel. Think hub seating region.

You may need to buy the spacers and also some hubcentric rings.

The best place I have found for hubcentric rings is www.discounttiredirect.com just give them a call and tell them what you need.

what would be the biggest offset i could put on the car before i would have to get spacers? cause i also was looking at Kazera KZ-M's and they only have a 25mm offset. would i still need spacers?

                  Not enough information provided.

                  Width, diameter, planned tire size.

o sry... they are 15x7 with a 25mm offset and they recommend a 205/55-15 size tire

I believe with a 7" wide wheel, 25mm is BMW factory offset. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
