Most people use Würth silver and clear, but the stuff is expensive and hard to find. I got very good results using Duplicolor High Performance Wheel Coating and its very inexpensive and readily available (I believe I picked mine up at Autozone).

I'm painting my BBS right now.. actually, I'm prepping them for paint. taking out all the nicks, rash, and getting rid of all the bad paint. I also built a paint booth so I can keep the paint clean, but most people don't go that far.
basically, you need to clean them really well, scuff them up, wash them again, prime them, paint them, then clearcoat. if you don't have any painting experience at all, go find a FAQ or something on painting so you can do it without it looking like you used a rattle can. ;)Comment
