    225/45/17 winters on staggered wheels?

I know some people will run the same size tires front and back on staggered wheels so they can rotate their tires, but do you guys think I'd run into any problems doing that with snow tires on stock 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 wheels? I want dedicated snow tires but can't find any staggered sets, only 225/45/17. I have newish (under 10k mi) Yokohama tires for the summer so I don't really want to buy all-seasons. Any suggestions?

    staggered snow tires? LOL

get some winter wheels. nobody is going to think you're a baller after you crunch your car into the back of an SUV on an icy road.

I'm not trying to be a "baller" lol. I am just having trouble finding steelies or cheap wheels in MB bolt pattern that will clear 13 inch brakes. This is for my 1998 Mercedes C43. I just thought you guys might have insight because the wheels are the same as staggered E36 M3 wheels. Plus I kinda doubt that steelies AND winter tires are going to be cheaper than just buying snows for my stock 17's, or am i wrong?

        Thanks in advance.

Not sure, sometimes the package deals are cheaper than buying tires and then shipping 4 tires and mount and balancing and dismounting a set of tires = same price.

          Odd but happens.

Good point. I'll do a little more digging.

225/45/17 all around is fine, 97+ M3 guys do this all the time with factory wheels.
