      For 16" you want 205/50 or 225/45.
well the company only offers 215-40 or 215-35. What do oyu mean they will look queer? Can you demonstrate with a pic comparison or something?

i'll talk to the guy and see if he can get 215-45 or should i ask him for 215-50?
Do you have to buy the wheels and tires as a package? I would just order the wheels and get some 225/45's from tirerack and have them mounted locally.

Trust us, extremely undersized tires, such as 215/40, will look very bad. Its a fact.

the 215-50-16 is only a +2.0% difference to the stock wheel. Is that going to make that much difference?

There's a guy who posts here who has 16x9 B1's with 225/45 tires and it looks beautiful..

Why are you so against getting the correct size tires?

no its just that it would be much easier just to get it from the comapny all mounted and balanced and they offer good tires too. I guess instead of going with the dunlop sp9000's i'll go with the es100's. Unless you guys know of any other 225/45-16 tires for sale that are up to $150/tire. Tirerack doesnt have anything.

es100's are great tires. I have them in 225/50-15 on my car. And they are cheap as hell too. I bet you with the money you would save over getting the dunlops, you could have the es100's mounted and balanced locally.

Toyo Proxes T1S tyres come in 225/45/16. Not sure how much they cost in the US though, but they're bloody good tyres in the wet and dry.
