I heard that these are a direct fit for our e30s and they are pretty light. They are also a little over 100 bucks per wheel. Here is a link.

This is true, however I would recommend purchasing them through bimmerworld as they get first rights to sell the wheels, as they commisioned the whole project.

too bad they are only available in 7"

going from 7" to 8" makes a big difference.

It's 15x7 and 13.5lbs or whatever for spec e30 competition. They actually said they added a bunch of weight to the hubs to make them legal.

Lee, does this mean mine should be on their way? Or are these from the preproduction test fit?

I think that is my brothers car lol, he said they test fitted the prototype wheel on his car. As someone else said though Bimmerworld does indeed get first dibs, so it is probably best to order through them. I am definitely getting some when they do come in though.

The first week in april they said they would have them in 2-4 weeks. 3 months later its still 2-4 weeks. You do the math.

....its anyones guess, and they uuc and bimmerworld have told me all sorts of things from problems with customs, to product defects, to difficulties in the manufacturing process...ect... I think they havent received enough pre orders to pay for them and they uuc and or bimmerworld is stalling.

the last thing i heard that was concrete was that they were just going into production with it overseas and that was like 2 months ago.
