btw my offest is 20, i pounded in the fenders more, hopefully that will fix the problem, its too late to take the tires back now. if it comes to it i'm willing to roll the fenders.
discount is a bunch of idiots, they said the tire size 225/45/16 wasn't available in my choice of tire. So i went to pick up the wheels and the front had 225/45/16's mounted. wtf? lol i assumed the rear would still fit, so i stuck them on. Now with the scuffs on the side of the tires discount wont swap them out.

205/45/16s here on 16x8 et 15. Late model no rubbing, no fender rolling.

I would definitely go with what the other guys are saying.

      What springs do you have?

What offset are you running? If you had trouble with 205/45/16s. 225/45/16s will make it worst.

That is a useless statement, you could be running 185s or some shit for all we know.

Yeah...225/50 on those wheels is NOT going to work. Even a 225/45 is a tough fit.

[shameless plug] I have a pair of 215/40/z16's i'd let go for cheap. They are brand spanking new with the stickers still on them. BFG G-Force sports if you or anybody else is interested. [/shamelessplug]

woot! all it took to eliminate rubbing was a BFH to the inner fender!
so to the theory that 22/50/16's wont fit in the rear: BS!

lol, glad to hear it worked. I still won't be recommending wheel/tire setups that involve tasks such as "the lips of the fenders have been pounded in" and "a BFH to the inner fender!" though.

I'm running 15 offset just like you. The problem I was having was when I had the eibach pro kit on. I have since switched to different springs and now the car sits a bit higher and I'm good all around. No spring pads anywhere.

i am currently running a 205/40/16 with 0 offset. i know this is undersized. i fawked two front tires by not getting an alignment and now need to get new tires. can i run a 195/45/16 without rubbing? i dont track my car and dont mind stretch. or am i better off getting a 205/45/16 and rolling the shit out of my fenders(would rather not do this).
