What is the best way to get a high polished look on my full RS001 caps? They have some small nicks and look to still have clearcoat on them. Do I just go at it with fine grit sandpaper and wet sand them and progressively go from like 1000 to 2000 grit throughout the process and then just compound polish and what not to rid the sand marks? Or is there another method I should look into?

edit: Rogan man you are hooking this thread up with some damn good info. Also thanks to the OP for creating it.  I asked for it to be sticky'd

        Here's my set of RS.
        • Model: RS 001
        • Height/Width/Offset: OEM 15x7 et 25
        • Purchased from: Traded for a set of 13x8 Schmidt TH-Line
        • Price: Trade
        • Prodution Date: Need to check
        • Made in West Germany
        • Plans for them: I don't know yet. Maybe a conversion to 16''. I think 15'' is small on E30. I need lips and bolts so I could sell the barrels (fully polished) and buy some 16'' 30 holes ones and 16'' 30 holes lips. The center logos are carbon, I'm also planning to buy chrome ones.

Would the lips and caps on those fit on RM's?

lips will, the bbs cap will, but not the actual weave centercap.

                    Heres my set up.
                    BBS RM012
                    15x8 et14
                    15x8.5 et8
                    flat caps
                    hidden valves

                    quick teaser/test fit..

I'm having clearance issues with the front wheels. The hidden valves are hitting up against the tierod ends. Hopefully a set of flush mount valves will solve this problem.

Your RM's are soo nice. I hope mine can grow up to be like yours someday  Are they brand new or something? They look like it? They're the same model as mine too, RM012's.

Here are a couple of rare wheels

They might look like normal euroweaves, but they are RG 003s. Basically a forged (lightwieght) euroweave with a nice lip. They are 15 X 7

Next, is a set of 17 X 8 ET40 BBS. The number stamped on them is 429

And a set of 17"BBS with custom center caps

                                Question about your RMs?
Aren't the RM012s normally a 6.5 X 15 (et33)? If you changed the lips did you re-calculate the ETs? Just wondering as the center might be stamped ET33, but with the wider lips, the ET "should" have changed.
