Best tire size for Bottle Caps with stock suspension?

So its time for new tires as these have been sitting for 10years so should I stick with stock size or get bigger?

What is the best tire size to fill in the huge fender gap?

Of course don't want it to rub and the standard size is 195/65 R14 so what are you all running?

Here is an old pic but still how she sits.

Different size tire won't actually change the fender gap really.

I ran 205/60 when I had caps. There isn't much you can do about the gap, and taller tires will make it handle like a bag of diarrhea.

        try a 205/55

a shorter tire will give you a little sharper feel and a smidgen of torque

And if you think it looks like a 4x4 now just wait until you throw some over sized tires on it.

            I suggest 195/65/r14 or 205/60/r14, and new springs/shocks/coil-overs.
