    BBS RA to weaves

I have 14' BBS RA with 35+ offset with spacer and longer studs than stock. I just bought sets of 14' weaves (beautiful). What things that I have to do to fit weaves on my car? Would I have to take off spacers and bought shorter studs or I just could buy shorter studs?

    any help will be great.

    currently with BBS RA (oldies)

Use the spacers with the weaves. How big are your spacers?

I'm not sure because I purchase the car with the wheels, itself.I assume its 10mm because 35+ offset and normal offset is 25+?

      weaves have 30+offset..

      does that help?

i thought you don't need anything to run weaves as they were stock...? or am i missing something. but if they are 30 et then math wise it sounds like you should get a 5mm

Yeah you re right, I wouldnt need anything to run those weaves but I already have 10mm spacers and longer studs on my car. Im lookin for a way to bolt them with shorter studs. Thats what wheel man told me, I need shorter studs.

leave the spacers on and put the new weaves on them, unless you really need the money. unless the center bore is different they will work fine and give you a 20mm effective offset.

I will when I get weaves on. BBS RA is first thing to go :). You have dibs, tho.

(leave the spacers on and put the new weaves on them, unless you really need the money. unless the center bore is different they will work fine and give you a 20mm effective offset.)

weaves is 30+offset with 10mm spacers which come to 20 offset as final..

bbs ra is 35+ offset with 10mm spacers which come to 25 offset as final..

I need to get 5mm shorter than my currently studs? or 5mm is too small to make any different?

no, you don't need to do anything with your studs. the thickness of the hub surface is (or should be) the same between wheels even if they have a different offset, the extra stud length is for the spacer not the wheel offset. You already have the right length studs for the 10mm spacers.

and FWIW 20mm offset wheels stick out 5mm further than 25mm offset wheels.

I got BBS RA off and there was no spacers behind the wheel. Yet, 35+offset doesnt rub on shocks or anything.

I finally mounted weaves few days ago (with lug studs from junkyards) and installed 21mm sway bar.

                    No spacer.

I have bbs ra and longer lug studs laying around:(
I have 3 caps with brand new bmw emblems, I need one more. I picked those up with tires for $100:pimp:
