You have a couple choices regarding size, but 205/45/16 or 205/50/16 are the easiest to find for a reasonable price. There is no 'best' tire, it's all a compromise: treadwear, dry grip, braking, turn in, wet grip, noise, etc... Check out tirerack.com for reviews, test results, and surveys. I've found them to be very accurate. They carry most brands and models of tires as well.

Tirerack.com has all the info you need. They even have FAQ's to help you learn how to determine what tire sizes mean and how to calculate things like sidewall height in inches.

I love my Nitto Neo Gens. They are designed for lowered cars with lots of camber. They handle great in the wet, very quite for daily driving, they don't squeal when you hit a turn, and they are pretty inexpensive. They also last very long for a 280 tread wear. I've got 15k miles on mine with more then half the tread life remaining. I've used them for 3 autox events and they held up pretty well. I'd say they have at least 80% of the amount of grip you would get from azenis 615s. They come in 205/50/16 and 205/45/16. e30 fiend has the 45 and i have the 50 profile.
