How to replace exterior window trim?

I have an '89 touring and the rear window lower trim has shrunk to the point where there is a 1/4" gap between the vertical rubber trim and the lower horizontal trim. Can someone please direct me to a video where is demonstrates how to replace the trim? I believe the piece number is 51311947248 based on realoem.com

51311947248 is the correct part number for the lower trim. I replaced mine a few years ago - VERY easy. If my memory is correct, it just pulls off and pushes on. The only tricky part is that it's cut-to-size. I cut mine too short and the gap has driven me crazy ever since. Plan to replace it again. Hope BMW doesn't discontinue the part before I get around to it.

So I started out looking up how to replace exterior window trim — you know, just trying to be productive for once. But five minutes later, I somehow ended up playing Brainrot Clicker instead.
