Anyone know if we can mix&match the coupe hinges/seals to retro fit pop out glass to the touring? I'd imagine we'd have to drill the glass for the rear latch, but what about the front?

There's a thread on here that referenced some images of a touring with them installed. Images are now dead of course, but is apparently a possibility.

I think this would be pretty cool, I'll measure my dads touring windows and my coupe windows next time they're side by side.My Garage

more info from Jozi's thread.
Seems like you just need to fit the seal, rear latch and front anchor. From what I gather, the tough part is getting the glass and trim off without destroying them. Very risky task, being that we don't have access to that stuff. Trim and clips are NLA and as far as I know, we can't get the quarter glass; we'd need to pay someone to remove it without breaking it....My feedback:

All this is before considering that turbulence in the cabin could well be awful with pop outs in that location. It would be a shame to do all that work and have it effectively useless.
Seems to me that the more worthwhile effort would be installing rear power windows, as they are very difficult to reach (off side impossible) without pulling over.

My car is a non-AC & slick top.. Just having the rear windows cracked is not nearly enough to properly evacuate hot air.My feedback:
