E30 Touring Trunk Hatch Liftgate Strut

'89 E30 Touring Hatch Liftgate doesn't always stay up on it's own so I'm looking to replace the hydraulic struts.

Should be an easy swap but I'm having trouble identifying the actual part and trying to confirm if it happens to be the same as the strut on the sedan or vert?

    Thanks.

as far as i know, cant get them from dealer anymore, esp. in the US.

found a few OEM options at http://www.buycarparts.co.uk

but ended up finding some on ebay poland with better shipping.

nice whip, nice wheels... any more pics?

Schmiedmann has them in stock for E13.44 each. Minimum shipping charge is $23, so add some other Touring specific parts to the order to help spread out the shipping cost.
