    Motor Mounts

I just looked up the motor mount part number for my touring on RealOEM and it's different than the part for USA E30s.

Part # for my touring: 11811132321
Part # for USA models: 11811132323

It looks like the 321 part number came on euro M20 models (320 and 325 sedan, coupe, cabrio, touring), and the 323 part number came on USA and some euro models.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in the parts or why different parts were needed? The 323 part is readily available (OE and OEM), so the more important question is can I use that part on my touring?

    Thanks, Cory

Any of the motor mounts should work just fine. Pretty sure it was a spec difference in durometer for the softer N. American market.

Member "uturn" was nice enough to PM me with the following info, so thought I'd share it with everyone.

"May have something to do with the engine mounting brackets. Your touring has aluminum arms where the #2323 is associated with the steel arms. Looking at pictures of the mounts, the stud is longer on the #2321 which I would assume is because your aluminum arm is thicker."
