    Darren's turbo e34 "pic intensive"

Figured I might as well post all this here since we now have a 5er sub-section and Otis mentioned something to me a while back. I subsequently sold my e30 last november and miss it very much. But I replaced it with a 95 M3 which is fun. But here is my 1993 "525i." Currently has S50 cams and TRM type turbo setup.

I have had it for close to 7 years and have done a TON of work on it. Especially recently. It is almost perfect for me, but there is always stuff to do. On tap is to redo the downpipe. A built 3.0L bottom end for the motor in 2013. Eventually a paint job and refinishing the wheels, maybe a set of new ones too. Then redoing the headliner and interior bits in alcantara. And I am constantly making changes to the stereo system. I compete with it in MECA and am on Team Hybrid Audio Technologies so I am constantly changing things slightly.

But anyways here is some good stuff :) Sorry for the quality of some of the pics. All of this was cut and pasted from my BF.c threads so I am including a lot of process pics and not just final stuff.

    Turbo stuff:

    The Turbo setup:
    Essentially TRM Stage 1.5
blow through TRM tune with MAF & 60lb injectors
    Biagio/SPA 7000H turbo
    Otis top mount manifold
    Tial 38mm MV-S wastegate
    Hyperboost diverter valve

    Motor prep etc:
    ARP 2000 studs
    Cometic MLS .140 HG
    Stewart High flow water pump
    aluminum thermostat housing
    80c thermostat
    NGK BKR7E sparks
16 inch Mishimoto slim pusher fan (1900cfm)
    17 inch CCI-1730 2 5/8 inch puller fan and shroud (2700cfm)
    TRM water temp sensor flange
Southbend Stage 3 clutch and flywheel
    F1 14lb. flywheel

    Piping exhaust etc:
    ebay intercooler 24"x11"x2.5" core
AEM Dry flow 9"x4" canister/cone filter
    custom CCV evac setup
    3 inch exhaust
    Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator
    Dynamax VT muffler

    Gauges and logging:
Parker Performance e34 shift surround with gauge panel
Rally Road steering column gauge pod mount
    AMS-500 digital boost controller
    Defi Red Racer Boost gauge
AEM digital water temp gauge and sensor
    Zeitronic ZT-2 wideband and datalogger & ZR-2 multi-gauge.
Defi Red Racer oil pressure gauge
    AEM digital oil temperature gauge

    Stereo:
    Pioneer p99rs HU/processor
    Hybrid Audio Technologies Legatia L3SE
    Hybrid Audio Technologies Legatia L6v2
    Image Dynamics IDMAX12 v.3 d4
    Zapco Reference 750.2
    Arc Audio KS 300.2
    Arc Audio KS 1000.1
German Audio Specialties 2.7cuft ported box tuned to 27hz build specifically for the IDMAX12 and the e34.
    Kinetik HC2000 power cell

The Zapco and Arc 300.2 are going to be replaced by a TRU Technology Super Billet 6 Stage III amp this week. Also I will be adding HAT L1 Pro R2 tweeters for competitions. For me the L3SEs play all the way up to the top flawlessly. I am mainly doing it for staging reasons. Also adding a dash mat and adjusting the p99 tune a bit.

TRU super billet B6 6 channel for front stage

    GAS "luke" IDMAX box

    The rest for now
