Yeah they look like they're replicas, but at the same time they look like they're just a different wheel... like you say, the spokes are too thin (width, not depth)... Not horrible looking by any means, but the real deal are much sexier.

This picture angle really shows a strong connection to where the e36 received it's styling from. Photoshop in some e36 lingts and its a splitting image.
